FREQUENTLY ASKED

Everything people ask us, straight answers.

Pricing, analysis, corrections, confidentiality: the answers are here, including the ones that do not flatter us.

Getting started

What is free, what to prepare, how long it takes.

When do I accept your terms?

When you create your account. An explicit checkbox constitutes acceptance of the terms of sale and the data protection policy; the accepted version and the date are recorded with your account. The applicable terms are those whose version appears at the top of the terms page; any change is announced in your account before it applies, and you may cancel if you disagree.

Is Bidlora a law firm?

No. Bidlora is a preparation tool: it compares requirements, quotes the specification pages and flags gaps. It is not legal advice or a consultation; the decision to bid and the final content remain yours.

Do I need a card to start?

No. Tender search, saved tenders and document upload are free and card-free. You pay only when you run an analysis, or when you order the written dossier.

How long does the first analysis take?

Uploading takes a few minutes. The analysis then runs for two to five minutes. You can close the tab or shut your laptop: the report waits for you in your workspace.

I don't have all my documents yet, is that a problem?

No — that is the point. Create the dossier now, add documents as they come, and the analysis tells you exactly which ones are missing for this tender.

Is it suitable for a small company or a freelancer?

Yes. A large share of public tenders is open to small firms. The analysis shows you the requirements that block you first — minimum revenue, certifications, headcount — before you spend hours on it.

Can I test on a tender I already lost, to understand?

Yes, it is a good exercise. You will see which documents the buyer expected and which ones you did not provide — often the reason for a mediocre ranking.

Analysis and requirements

How the verdict is built, and why you can challenge it.

What is each finding based on?

On the buyer's own text, page by page. Every point quotes the exact sentence and its page number. You can check it in three seconds with the specifications open beside you.

What do 'proven', 'to confirm' and 'missing' mean?

Proven: one of your documents answers the requirement explicitly. To confirm: the document exists but the wording leaves doubt (duration, amount, scope). Missing: no document covers it.

Is a value exactly equal to the minimum enough?

Yes. If the buyer asks for 'at least CHF 1,500,000' and you declare CHF 1,500,000, the requirement is met. Bidlora will not ask for extra margin.

What if the analysis is wrong?

It can happen, and nothing is presented as a guarantee. Every finding carries its quote: you confirm or correct it in one click. That is also why we say everywhere that the decision to submit stays yours.

How many requirements are usually detected?

On a mid-sized Swiss or European specification, between ten and twenty-five, depending on how dense the document is. Some are documents to supply, others are formalities (language, validity, submission channel).

Corrections and documents

How to fix things without getting lost, and what happens to your old documents.

Why are corrections grouped by document?

Because that is how the work really happens: you do not revise the same CV twenty times. Replace one document once, and every point it covered is resolved together.

Are my previous versions kept?

Yes. A document is never overwritten: the new version replaces the old one in the dossier, and the history stays in your company documents.

What if I upload the same document twice?

The dossier refuses the duplicate and offers to replace the existing version. That is deliberate — a dossier with two contradictory certificates is grounds for rejection.

Which file formats are accepted?

PDF first. It is what buyers expect and what the analysis reads most faithfully, including tables and scans.

Are formalities corrections?

No. Formalities are not documents to produce but rules to follow: language of the offer, submission date and time, channel, validity period. They are shown separately so they are not confused with a missing document.

Submission dossier

What the written dossier contains, how fast, and who signs it.

Who writes the submission dossier?

Our team, from your analysis and your company documents. You do not fill in yet another form: we start from what you have already uploaded.

What exactly is inside?

A cover letter tailored to the tender, a company presentation, a point-by-point answer to each requirement with its matching document, and a numbered checklist for submission.

Can I reuse the written dossier for another tender?

The dossier is written for one specific tender, with its requirements, documents and buyer. You may keep it as an internal working base, but we do not warrant its suitability for another tender: requirements, language, thresholds and forms change. A new order is required for another submission.

Who is responsible for the documents and information submitted?

You are. Certificates, accounts, references, certifications and figures you upload must be accurate, up to date and yours. Bidlora reads them and flags what is missing or must be confirmed, but does not verify them with their issuer and does not replace them. An inaccurate, expired or omitted document remains your responsibility, including where the analysis did not catch it.

What is Bidlora's liability?

Bidlora provides a preparation tool and, optionally, a drafting service. Our liability is limited to the amounts you have actually paid over the last twelve months. Indirect damage — a tender not won, lost profit, reputational loss, buyer penalties — is excluded to the extent permitted by law. These limits do not apply in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, nor where the law prohibits them: that is what makes the clause enforceable, and also what makes it honest.

Who writes the dossier: an AI or a person?

Both, and we say so. The analysis comparing requirements with your documents is produced by an artificial intelligence model: that is what lets us process a 40-page specification in minutes, with the exact quote for every page. The submission dossier is prepared with our tools, then reviewed and validated by a person on the Bidlora team before delivery: consistency, tone, listed documents. You then approve the final content before submitting.

How fast is it delivered?

Within 3-5 business days after ordering. It appears in your workspace at step 5 of your dossier. If your deadline is closer, write to us before paying: we will tell you honestly whether it is feasible.

Can I still change my documents after paying?

No, and that is deliberate: the dossier is frozen at payment so that what we write matches exactly what was analysed. You therefore validate your documents before ordering.

Is the analysis produced by artificial intelligence?

Yes, and we say so plainly. A language model reads your documents and the specification, then every finding is tied to the buyer's sentence and its page. You check in one click, you correct, you decide. No decision is taken for you.

Does it guarantee I will win?

No. No tool, no firm and no person can guarantee that a public tender will be awarded to you: the decision belongs to the buyer. What Bidlora guarantees is the work: finding the requirements, quoting the page, flagging what is missing, formatting the dossier and delivering within the announced deadline. Ranking then depends on price, technical quality, references and the panel. A complete dossier avoids rejections for missing documents — it does not win on its own.

Pricing and billing

What you pay, when, and how to stop.

What is the difference between 39 CHF, 340 CHF and 99 CHF?

39 CHF: one dossier analysis, no subscription. 99 CHF a month: Pro, five analyses and daily alerts — or 990 CHF a year, two months free. 390 CHF: the written submission dossier (same price with Pro).

Is the price final?

The prices shown are final: Bidlora is not yet registered for VAT, so nothing is added at checkout. If the company crosses the registration threshold, VAT would be announced before any payment.

Which terms and conditions apply?

Sales are governed by Swiss law. Terms and conditions are published before online payments open: no payment is taken without them. Displayed prices are final; VAT does not apply.

How does payment work?

By card, through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Can I cancel my Pro subscription?

Yes, in one click from your workspace, at any time. You keep access until the end of the period already paid. The single dossier never renews: it is a purchase, not a subscription.

What if I use more than five analyses?

You can buy an extra analysis on its own, without changing plan. The counter is always visible in your workspace.

What if I am not satisfied?

Write to [email protected] describing what does not match: every situation is reviewed. Unused credits stay available for the duration of your subscription and are not carried over; cancelling keeps access until the paid term ends. The full framework — final payments, statutory exceptions and complaint deadlines — is in the "Final payments and refunds" article of the terms of sale.

Is my data 100% protected?

No, and no online service can claim otherwise. In practice: traffic is encrypted, access is segregated and logged, and you can delete a document or your account at any time. But your documents are sent to providers for the analysis — including a language model processed outside Europe — and no system is infallible against an attack or an outage. So only upload what the tender requires: no health data, no full banking details, no third-party secrets. Details are in the "Data chain and recipients" and "Artificial intelligence, security and limits" articles of the terms of sale.

Data and privacy

Where your documents are, who can read them, and what we never do with them.

Read the Data protection page

Where are my documents stored?

In a private workspace, isolated per organisation. Access rules check on every request that you belong to that organisation — the isolation is enforced in the database, not just hidden in the interface.

Are my documents used to train an AI?

No. Your documents are read to produce your analysis and nothing else. They are never resold, shared with another client, or used to train a model.

Who at Bidlora can see my dossier?

Only the people preparing your dossier, and only when you have ordered one. Without an order, your dossier stays private.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. Deleting a dossier removes its files. You can also delete a company document at any time; it will no longer be used in future analyses.

How do I exercise my data rights?

Write to [email protected]: access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your documents. We answer within the legal deadlines. Details are on the Data protection page.

Do you use advertising cookies?

No. Only the cookies needed for signing in and securing your session. No data brokers, no advertising tracking.

What happens if I delete my account?

Three things, in this order: your subscription is cancelled immediately, so no further charge; your access is closed the same day; your documents and dossiers are deleted automatically thirty days later, giving you time to retrieve what you need — write to us if you want an export. The current subscription period is not refunded. Only accounting records tied to payments are kept, because the law requires it.

Is data transferred outside Switzerland or the EU?

Yes, for the analysis. Hosting, files and backups stay within the European Union, but the tender analysis is produced by a language model operated in the United States: the tender documents and the necessary excerpts are transmitted to it. Emails leave through a US provider. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The full list of recipients, with their country, is on the Privacy page and in the terms of sale.

Can I get a data processing agreement (DPA)?

Yes, on request at [email protected]. We also provide the up-to-date list of processors and our technical and organisational security measures.

Where can I raise a complaint?

First to [email protected]: we answer within a few days. In Switzerland you may also contact the Federal Data Protection Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, your national supervisory authority.

Who are your processors?

Supabase for database and files (EU hosting), Stripe for payments, a transactional email provider and a language-model provider for the analysis. The current list is available on request.

Where is the data hosted?

With a European cloud provider. Backups and access logs follow the same isolation rules as the main database.
